Festivals

Activity ONE :

Please, visit this blog for ESL* students (click HERE) and write down the answers to these questions in your copybooks. Be ready to read your answers orally and discuss about the topic with your classmates.

1- What is the difference between the festivals in the past and at present?

3- Where do they take place ?

Hobbies

Life would be very boring without hobbies :( We would appear like robots without feelings or simply aliens on our own planet.

Hobbies change our routine. They allow us to keep a balance between busy moments and free time. There is a very long list of hobbies and interests to suit each of our taste.

 Which is your favourite from this list?

• Playing computer games.

• Watching cartoons on TV.

• Taking up different sports such as football, handball, basketball, gymnastics, volleyball etc.

• Reading.

• Playing a musical instrument such as a piano or a guitar.

• Looking after a family pet such as cat, dog, hamster, fish, parrot etc.

• Horse riding.

• Collecting things such as stamps, badges, postcards, pens etc. 

• Poetry.

• Dancing.

• Indoor as well as outdoor sports.

• Adventure or extreme sports.

• Fitness or working out in a gym.

• Music (singing, composing).

• Social Networking (Facebook - Twitter )

• Watching movies.
